Fixed access ladders VECTALADDER® are a device to secure authorized personnel safety access to industrial buildings, facilities or technical terraces. In addition, this type of device is designed to provide an exit from the building in the event of an emergency. Our VECTALADDER® fixed access ladders allow you to climb great heights in safety. They are one the widest fixed access ladders in today’s market (60 cm wide). This guarantees an optimal user comfort allowing easy access to the roof with materials. Our safety ladders are made of aluminium. They are a lightweight and maintenance-free.

Fixed access ladders uses

Fixed access ladders VECTALADDER® are permanently attached to structural elements of buildings as well as to machines and industrial devices. A wide range of fixings and the lightness of the ladder itself allow installation on metal decks or sandwich panels’ walls. The minimum metal thickness required is 0.63mm. Our VECTALADDER® fixed access ladders fit with our safety systems, such as: roof railings or technical platforms.

Because our fixed access ladders are designed as a modular structure, the assembly of them is quite simple. Ladder assembling consist of joining ready-made elements and screwing them together in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer. The scope of delivery includes all screws and steel fixings depending on the characteristics of the support. The greatest advantage of our fixed access ladders is how easy they are to assemble. That allows most of our clients to carry out the installation themselves.

Possibility to install the LDV VERTILIGNE® vertical fall arrest system. It is intended to prevent fall arrest for user’s ladder. The slider (self-locking mechanism) travel up and down the rope during the normal moving of the user. In the event of a fall, the slider locks on the rope to arrest the fall.

Fixed access ladders made of aluminium

Fixed access ladders VECTALADDER® are made of aluminium. Compared to steel ladders, our aluminium ladders provide greater resistance to adverse weather conditions, including corrosion. Our fixed access ladders are classified according to EN ISO 12944-2 as corrosion class C3. This is a medium corrosivity class – ‘urban and industrial atmospheres, moderate sulphur dioxide (IV) pollution, e.g. coastal areas with low salinity.’

Raw aluminium finish – other finishes on request, such as anodized aluminium, thermo-lacquered and matched to any RAL colour.
