Counterweight roof anchor TOPKIT serves as a portable anchor point for fall arrest systems. It is a counterweight anchor point for use on flat roofs or terraces with adequate load-bearing capacity. It is an ideal solution for roofs where it is impractical to install permanent fixed anchor posts to the roof or supporting structure. You can install TOPKIT in one place and easily move it to another location. Counterweight roof anchor TOPKIT complies with the requirements of the EN ISO 795: 2012 standard as Class E.

How a counterweight roof anchor works?

The principle of operation is to lay the fall arrest device on the ground without any fixing to the supporting structure. In this simple way, we create an anchor point to which roof users can attach their PPE equipment. TOPKIT is intended to secure up to two users at the same time. The TOPKIT counterweight roof anchor can be used on flat roofs with an appropriate load capacity (surface load 2 kN/m2) and a pitch up to 5 degrees. TOPKIT can be even installed in flat roofs without parapets at the edge.

Counterweight roof anchor TOPKIT consists of:

– fall arrest device body made of stainless steel with an anchor point at the top

– 16 concrete slabs with dimensions of 50x50x5cm or 20 concrete slabs 50x50x4cm

Counterweight roof anchor TOPKIT can also be used to create a “rope system” (lifeline) in accordance with the EN ISO 795 class C standard. It is useful on roofs where it is not possible to drill the membrane. The portable roof anchor system does not puncture the roof preventing leaks from occurring and maintaining your roof warranty.
