Roof walkways VECTAWAY® are intended to secure access on fragile and slippery roof terraces of buildings or industrial halls. A special non-slip serrated profile ensures the maximum level of safety when walking on the roof. They are a lightweight device made of aluminium that poses almost no load for roofing. A wide range of fixing allows installing our walkways in any type of building or facility. Roof walkways VECTAWAY® complies with the European standard EN ISO 14122-2.
Types of VECTAWAY® roof walkways
Crossover ladders
VECTAWAY® crossover walkways are designed to provide safe passage over obstacles on the roof: parapets, pipes, services, or even moving on roofs of different heights. Thanks to their plastic counterweights, they do not require any drilling into the roof covering, and installation takes around 20 minutes for the freestanding model. See details: crossover ladders.
Maintenance roof platforms
Maintenance roof platforms provide authorised personnel with safe access to technical equipment on the roof: ventilation units, air conditioning units or photovoltaic systems. Shed roof walkways

VECTAWAY® roof walkways uses
Thanks to a wide range of fastening accessories and our freestanding system, we can install our aluminium roof walkways to all types of roofs. From metal deck roofs to fibrocement, standing seam roofing or any type of supports on request. Because our roof walkways are designed as a modular structure, the assembly of them is quite simple. Roof walkways assembling consist of joining ready-made elements and screwing them together in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer. The greatest advantage of our roof walkways is how easy they are to assemble. That allows most of our clients to carry out the installation themselves. VECTAWAY® aluminium roof walkways are designed for roof pitches up to 20˚.
VECTAWAY® roof walkways are made of 6063 T6 aluminum with an excellent finish. The standard raw aluminium finish ensures a C3 corrosion category. Other finishes on request, such as anodized aluminium, thermal varnishing and matched to any RAL colour. It is a lightweight device that does not require any maintenance. Only 14 kg/m for a 600 mm wide walkway and 16 kg/lm for a 800 mm wide walkway.
